Making Inclusion Conversations
Relatable, Relevant
Engaging, Impactful
Our Diversity and Inclusion Training Programs
Diversity refers to the special qualities that define each individual, including their race, gender, sexual orientation, and socio-economic status. Inclusion, on the other hand, ensures that everyone feels like they belong in the workplace, regardless of their differences.
This fosters a company culture where diverse perspectives are valued, contributing to problem-solving and innovation. When companies invest in diversity and inclusion in the workplace training, they create an environment where employees can thrive and collaborate effectively.
This benefits both the employees and the company as a whole, as it promotes creativity, teamwork, and overall success.
Benefits of Diversity and Inclusion Training
Diversity and Inclusion training is vital for building workplaces where everyone feels truly valued and respected.
It empowers individuals to develop a range of competencies. From building leadership competencies to learning about cultural competence, managers and employees, through immersive DEI workshops unpack their unconscious biases, learn about the impact of such biases, specifically on underrepresented groups.
In this process, participants learn to appreciate the value of workplace diversity and start seeing the value of various organizational-wide DEI initiatives.
Inclusive environments create a safe space for diverse voices to be heard and for underrepresented groups to thrive.
Through thoughtful DEI initiatives and expert diversity and inclusion consulting, Breath Beings partners with organizations to create lasting change—ensuring every employee feels seen, heard, and empowered to thrive.
What is the Difference Between D&I and DEI?
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) expands on Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) by emphasizing equity and ensuring fair outcomes. Equity recognizes that fairness varies with an individual's societal power. While equality focuses on equal opportunities, equity considers accommodations for fair results, acknowledging individual differences.
We think including 'B' in DEIB is important because feeling like you belong is key to making workplaces fair and inclusive

Organizations can understand these identity traits within three categories in the context of DEI.
Inherent traits
Gender, identity, ability, and caste form the inherent traits that uniquely define individuals, crucial for understanding diversity in organizations.
Acquired traits
Diversity of thought, languages spoken, income levels, and work experience contribute to acquired traits shaping individuals and enriching organizational diversity.
Organizational acquired traits
Management status, department connection, and workplace location, are important traits that help define different roles in a diverse workforce.

Who needs to own and run Diversity Equity and Inclusion?
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is an organisation-wide responsibility. It's not just the role of leaders or HR teams to work on. Rather, each member of the organization plays an important role - from the leadership teams designing inclusive policies & processes to managers nurturing collaboration, calling out bias and building cultural competence in the teams, every moment matters.
Managers become role models, and their behaviours will be emulated by the larger team. Hence, if we wish that diversity and inclusion in the workplace is a reality, managers have to own and demonstrate inclusive behaviours. Managers can effectively focus on empowering underrepresented groups by focusing on various DEI initiatives.
It is every employee’s responsibility to support one another to realise the essence of Diversity and Inclusion in everyday workplace situations.
While diversity and inclusion consulting can offer support in terms of benchmarks and best practices, leaders, managers, and employees have to come together to manifest inclusion in the workplace.
A well-curated diversity training program can bring biases to the surface. Impactful diversity and inclusion consulting can identify gaps and capture unique experiences. The entire organisation holds a collective responsibility of ensuring that individuals feel seen, heard, valued, and respected.
